Voicea goes to significant efforts to make sure your data is secure and only available to you, through a combination of technology, processes, and features that are designed to ensure your data is safe and secure. We always encourage our customers to do the same, by making sure to use strong passwords, enabling Two-factor authentication, and by providing insight into session information. Customers can review the login attempts to the Voicea platform by navigating to the Security settings and reviewing the active sessions, as well as a log of login attempts, complete with the timestamp and IP address of the logged-in user.
If you happen to see a login attempt that you do not recognize, please take the following steps:
- Change your account password: Changing your Voicea password is the first step to ensuring that your account is secured. You can change your password by going to the Security & Log In tab and changing your password, or if you are logged out of the application, just click "forgot my password" and follow the instructions to reset your password.
- Enable Two Factor Authentication on your account: Two-Factor Authentication is a very secure way to protect your online accounts. It works by requiring you to identify yourself using two different things when you log-in to a site. The second factor is tied to something ‘you have’ (like a cellphone). So you can think of two-factor as something you know (your password) + something you have (your cellphone). You can enable Two Factor Authentication on the Security and Log In tab.
- Revoke all active sessions on your account: You can see all the active sessions. Revoking a session will force a user to be logged out and will require that user to log back in to continue accessing the site. You can manage sessions on the Security and Log In tab.
