What Is This Feature?

Use the Live Dial feature within the Voicea mobile app (iOS or Android) to place a call with EVA automatically on the call to record and take notes. Use Live Dial to add EVA to ad hoc calls or calls without a calendar invite or dial in.
*currently supports calls to US and CA

BETA Release:

Live Dial is currently in BETA, and we are enabling the feature for users who have registered and as capacity becomes available. You may sign up via the web or mobile app (by clicking on the grey phone icon) and we will notify you once we have enabled the feature in your account. Once your account has been enabled, the phone icon will turn blue.

How To Use It

In order to use Live Dial, please make sure you have the latest version of the Voicea mobile app (2.21.6 for iOS and 3.03 for Android).

To use Live Dial, simply click on the blue phone icon in the upper right corner of the app.

If you haven't already registered your phone number, you will be asked to verify your number the first time you launch Live Dial. Simply enter the phone number you will be calling from and then enter in the verification code you receive via SMS (you can also register your number under Settings > Phone Numbers from the web).

Next, either manually enter a US or CA phone number, or select from your contacts. Once you’ve entered in a phone number, press “Call with EVA”.

Before the call is placed, a pop-up with the following message will appear, “Be sure to inform everyone in the call that they are being recorded.” Click “OK”.

Voicea uses call forwarding and will first dial out to EVA and then connect your call. You will see a pop-up with the number used to dial EVA (650-235-4994), press “Call” and your call will automatically be routed first to EVA, and then the number you provided.

Once your call has been connected, you can access the LiveTap view by clicking on the EVA Live Dial (LIVE) meeting, under Upcoming. Click on the meeting and then Launch LiveTap to see a live transcript of your call and mark highlights.

After your call, EVA will automatically send you the meeting highlights. You can also access the highlights, full transcript and audio recording from the past meeting tab (via either the web or mobile app).
